About Macclenny Housing Authority

Macclenny Housing Authority and the Baker County Housing Assistance Program are presently completely separate, federally funded, but locally operated rental assistance programs established by U.S. HUD for qualifying low income families.

MHA is conventional public housing commonly known as “the projects”, BCHAP is the housing choice voucher program generally known as section 8. The application process is the same for each program and at the conclusion of the process and at your discretion you may be placed on either or both waiting lists.
